The Late Train

We raced into the station by taxi in time for the 8 o’clock start only to find it was not leaving until at least 10 o’clock! So off we went to Prince George’s coffee/bookshop.

We did buy one book as Don has finished all the actual books. As the train did not provide much food we ordered some sandwiches to take for the day. We returned to the station to wait!

Finally we left at 11o’clock. We passed large sawmills and logs packed to move .

The train travelled down along the valleys and the scenery changed again.





We rattled passed snow capped mountains.

Spectacular views. 



Over the trip we read, played Plants versus Zombies, Solitaire, Secret Society and slept. The trip took 14 hours so it was 1o’clock when we finally disembarked, got into a taxi and reached the Crest Hotel.
