An early start and breakfast, packed lunch and farewells from Karen and Kevin and we were on our way to return the car and get to Kings Cross/ St Pancras Station in time for the Eurostar.
OK, you know we got that far ... We gave that away last post. Just suspend disbelief, s'il vous plait.
it was farewell Wales, hello Heathrow, goodbye car ...
And after an hour on the Picadilly line, hello St Pancras International.
And ending up in Gare du Nord Paris.
We go a taxi to our new abode which has stairs down into our room - More chances for Don to hit his head. Once we settled in we set off for the Tuileries gardens where it was much cooler than our room.
This is the VEIW from our window!
Luckily we are close to the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries and we had a lovely walk through the gardens and sculptures.
The Louvre
The view up the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
More of the gardens.
And the fun fair near the Louvre.
Don sitting with Joan of Arc to work out where to start tomorrow.
