Leaving Ireland

OFF BEFORE 7AM, we had checked out, driven through the gates, worked out our route, when Don panicked remembering he had left his prized dental accessory in the bathroom. Luckily he retrieved it, giving the hotel a second opportunity to realise we owed €10 for the parking, and we were on the way.

On the Stena Line Don tried the WiFi. Google complained and told us someone from Norway was trying to access the gmail account -- guess who? We have learnt now!

Countryside in Wales off the A497 (note that this has been fact checked) ...

We stopped in Porthmadog for coffee and some more Aberystwyth noir books for Don. Met the bookshop owner who had lived in Richmond and read Malcolm Pryce on his honeymoon ....

Back to Llwyngwril and a lovely welcome from Karen and Kevin and Ffion, and their washing machine.

- Posted promptly, after hanging washing and throwing stones
