We saw many Renoir, Cezanne, Manet and Van Gogh paintings. There was a beautiful Van Gogh called Starry Night! No photos at all however.

As we walked along the Seine three times people pretended to find a gold ring and ask if it was mine. I must have gullible tourist written across my forehead!
Since we are now staying a bit longer in Paris, we had a chance to change hotels, moving a little west in search a better balance between posh and dosh. On arrival, we were upgraded to a more spacious ground floor room -- numero un! -- where we can hear the rumble of the underground but little else.
In the afternoon we took a boat tour up the Seine. It gave us another look at important Parisian buildings and bridges.
There are two islands in the Seine and Notre Dame is on one of them.
This summer, Paris has created some mini beaches along the Seine for families, especially children, to play in the sand.
We strolled along the Seine and saw people dancing, massaging, and selling touristy items.
We had a lovely French meal at a corner Bistro. Waiter from UK/Sydney/Paris ...
