Walking Paris streets of an evening

WE WENT OUT FOR A SUSHI DINNER IN THE LATIN QUARTER (so called because the students all used to speak in Latin).

We passed Notre Dame on our way home and watched some street entertainment.







The evening sky lit up the cathedral.




Down along the Seine they have brought in sand and made beaches. People dance, children make sand castles and others just lounge on deck chairs and watch the world walk by.




At 10.00 the Eiffel tower sparkles as hundreds of little lights twinkle on and off.
