It was the Paddle festival with balloons and local charities trying to raise some money. A pub visit and Don even bought some new thongs (sorry, flip flops).
Jane, Karen's best friend, and Chris her partner, are down for the weekend. Welsh cakes were tested, although the sample was deemed to be atypical and more testing is required.
In the evening lots of locals came around to celebrate Karen's birthday. We met Pat, and Pete -- another tick off our list -- as well as others. Pimms with elderflower cordial and blackberries ...
