Doubters in Dublin

Doubters in Dublin

Our journey into Dublin was like an Intrepid adventure. First buy some fruit at the service station so you have the correct change for the bus- no change given! Then wait.

We saw the Book of Kells at Trinity College. The long room full of books and marble busts was amazing. Maybe we should have gone for an arched wood ceiling in the lounge room.

We headed up Grafton Street to take in the ambiance. Street buskers and good coffee for Sue.

We thought this shop would appeal to Kevin and Karen.

And this for Josh!

We investigated Irish Stone Age to Medieval history in the National Museum of Ireland.

We wandered through Saint Stephens Green. The swans and their young seemed very hot.

We ate dinner at Bewleys apparently the place to be.

Returning home became more problematic as a River dance performance altered the return bus route and we had to walk through the city to find the the correct stop. Don correctly guessed that the bus would go up past the Hotel. Left of the bollards!!
