OUR EARLIEST START in Wales, and a good big goodbye to Karen and Kevin for the moment. We left by eight thirty on the drive to the ferry at Holyhead.
We stopped briefly for coffee in Caenarfon and saw the castle.
We arrived at the ferry terminal in good time -- not quite at the head of the queue.
It was the quietest of crossings; nothing to do but read and drink and nibble.
We set off into Dublin, coping well despite a couple of minor diversions. The new navigation app and AA advice got us close, but we had of course missed the key turn off from the motorway... Left of the bollards! Left of the bollards!
Note to self: remember to write down ISD codes before using these new phones...
Air conditioning appears to mean that windows can be opened.
