From Wales to Perthshire

This trip was going to take six and a half hours of driving plus time for stops along the way. We planned to leave around 8.00 and left at 8.30am. Our first stop was a toilet stop with the benefit of a Starbucks, a drink for Lowri and some food to sustain us. Lowri deliberated about which drink she would have!

Rheged was our second stop and lunch. We shared an amazing variety of pies and sausage rolls. It also had a great outdoor activity centre.

Lowri had a lovely time racing around and going down the long slide.

We finally reached our destination just before six thirty. The last few miles are on a single lane road through the countryside and down along Loch Earn. We just hoped no one was coming the other way or we would have to back to a passing place.

Lowri was the first inside and quickly checked out all the rooms. She loves her room and made herself at home straight away.

This is the view from her room.

We all settled in, found the Wifi and then thought about dinner.

We went into the local area to have dinner at the Clachan Cottage Hotel in Lochearnhead. Aneirin had fun with some spare wool.

This our view of Loch Earn from the house.

Early to bed.
