Back to Wales

There is no blog for the whole night and day we spent going back to London. We flew from Vancouver at 11.00pm to New York where we had to get off and get our bags, go through customs and then get back on the plane to London arriving at 10.30pm the next day. Today Wednesday the 3rd of July we walked to the Europe car hire in Heathrow and picked up a 8 seater van. It is bigger than the one we had last time because we were very squished with all the luggage.

It is a Toyota ProAce. It is easier to drive and you sit up higher like in a van.

We drove straight down to Llwyngwril arriving about 4.45pm. Lowri was very excited to see us and showed us her diary.

Initially Aneirin was worried about Don. Who was this bearded white haired man?

After a while he was fine.

Lowri decided we should have a picnic dessert out in the back garden.

After dinner we went down to the park for a little play.

Aneirin doesn’t like swings but loves to watch Lowri on the swing.

The village yarn bombs places once a year. We will go on the walk tomorrow and see them all but we found some today.

This one of the giant is quite impressive.

Time to go to bed and hope that I am not too jet lagged.  Beautiful sunset over the sea outside.
