Phuket day 1- Looking at the local area

We arrived late last night. We are about 50k away from the airport so had a long drive to get here. I nearly went to sleep on the trip. After a quick tour and lots of information about the villa we finally got to bed.

In the morning we walked up to the main road to source food and coffee!

 The local taxi stand is at the end of our road.

We had breakfast at the German Bakery! Obviously catering for European tourists.

On our return the pool beckoned and we all had a serious dip. It was my second splash for the day.

What a tough life we are having!



Which recliner to use?

Later in the afternoon the rain came and it poured down.

For our evening meal we decided to investigate old Phuket. After a taxi trip in we wandered the streets looking at the architecture.

  

Don found a great restaurant called Suay for our dinner. The food was delicious and Di even had a dessert, a rare occurrence for her.
