Depressed yet enjoying Wales

We woke up full of expectations about the Australian elections and organised to see Leigh Sales and team relaying the results on the TV. Unfortunately it did not play out as we expected!!! We set off by train to see the seaside town of Barmouth.

We got off at Morfa Mawddach and walked across the Barmouth bridge encountering about 20 older bikies on the way.

We were on a mission to help Don replace the thongs that he had bought there 6 years ago. After coffee, shopping, fish and chips and ice cream we returned to Llwyngwril by train.

It is spring and everything looks green. This is the small stream that runs down to the beach.

The garden out the back is full of plants flowering, birds singing and insects buzzing around. There is a badger that frequents the end of the garden but it is rarely seen.
