Riding the Blackall Range

OUR BREAKFAST AT MOONDOGGY'S CAFE BAR started with a Skinny Minnie (grapefruit, lemon, cucumber & sparkling mineral water). Then it was off in the bus called Bertha to Baroon Pocket Dam for a picnic morning tea.

Brisbane had had the coldest morning since 1911 and it was still a bit chilly.

Then it was back into Bertha and we drove up along the Blackall Range to see the Glasshouse Mountains.

We ate lunch at the Mary Cairncross Park and walked through a lovely part of the untouched rainforest.

These Wonga Vines are centuries old unlike Barbara!

Our last visit was to Montville where we wandered among the shops. We spotted this plant called a Cow Udder plant!

We had another delicious meal at the Lazy River to end our day.
