On Our Way To The Ozone Seafront Hotel.

The two plane flights to Kangaroo Island took quite some time. We lunched on a sandwich at Adelaide airport and finally reached the Ozone Seafront Hotel Kingscote.

Barbara was picked up at 7.30am but it was a long day and we didn't arrive till 4.00 pm S.A. time.

We checked out the accommodation and then went for a walk around the town.

Barbara found this rather masculine mermaid out the front of our hotel. Luckily we found ourselves down at the pelican feeding place at the right time.

We learnt lots of interesting facts about pelicans.

Apparently the local penguin colony has been decimated by the New Zealand fur seals.

The pelicans hang glide to dry off after the feeding frenzy.
