Down at the beach

Week 1:


We are spending a few days done the Great Ocean Road, catching up on sleep and entertaining a certain six-year-old by building a cubby against the house, playing the odd game, having coffees at the local wifi access point, and enjoying serious lunches ... Also discovering what various iPad apps will do. Yes, Plants vs Zombies remains a favorite across the population, although swamp hens remain at top of the pecking order.

Before we go ...

I made the mistake of suggesting that I was considering using Facebook to avoid mass emails, thereby no longer threatening the entire edumail system. I was roundly berated by one dinner companion, who waxed lyrical on the failings of Facebook and the monetisation of everything today, and sternly instructed to blog. Or else. And so we begin.I
